A coalition of major conservation groups published a report outlining key steps the state of Florida can take to respond to pressing environmental concerns, including the big OA.
The full report can be downloaded from docuticker. The summary alludes vaguely to "restoring coastal and marine ecosystems so they can better cope with the stress of climate change and ocean acidification."
Authoring the report was the Florida Coastal and Ocean Coalition, an entity which includes the Natural Resources Defense Council, the Caribbean Conservation Corporation, EnvironmentalDefense Fund, Gulf Restoration Network, National Wildlife Federation,Ocean Conservancy, Reef Relief and The Surfrider Foundation.
